2021 SUMMER SOCCER STARS TOURNAMENT has been scheduled for TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 07 2021 –

ALL PLAYERS FROM OUR SUMMER PROGRAMS are eligible and INVITED to play

we ask ALL PLAYERS to WEAR UNIFORMS

All playing times are same as the practice times…

TINY & MINI STARS => 6:30-7:20 pm

RISING STARS 7:30-8:20 pm

there are few notes and reminder:

*** CHANGES IN SCHEDULE ARE POSSIBLE (COMBINED SESSIONS and/or INCLUDING CANCELLATION OF PROGRAM) due to lack of MIN # of players signed, COVID-19 restrictions etc. IF program gets cancelled very first week – a full refunds will be issued, less $25 uniform kit fee ****

1. Waiver forms must be signed and brought to our first session,

2. all fees must be paid by JULY 08/11, in order for your child to join our soccer program (PREFERENCE in PERSON is payment by cash as we had few NSF CHEQUES before (fee will be $45 if you issue NSF)

3. ALL KIDS MUST BRING THEIR SOCCER BALLS (NEWLY SIGNED PLAYERS will receive them as a part of SOCCER UNIFORM KIT)

4. ALL SESSIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, (in a case of bad weather: rain, thunders, lightning, extreme cold weather) they will be postponed and rescheduled after  AUG 02 2021 – unless announced differently (please see policy)

UNIFORMS – SOCCER BALLS could be purchased ($10.00/pcs) – only if program policy allows it (will be approved on case by case basis)

6. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS as number of parents are not receiving our emails (they are ending up in SPAM folders)

While closely reviewing Alberta Health and Alberta Soccer updates and guidelines, we are offering this SOCCER program in-line with provincial recommendations.

As per the guidelines for ‘Return to Modified Games’ players will begin in Cohorts of 50 max (which includes players, & support staff/coaches). This means players are only allowed to train & play with & against players within their cohort – players will only be able to participate in other programs, or sports at this time if those programs only provide physical distance training.

Our decision is that our “micro groups” will have limit of up to 50 players per age group

Our coaches will work to ensure little players are training to their fullest potential in a safe environment, while following provincial guidelines,

Parents:

* Please continue to use designated Drop-off/Pick-up areas.

* Spectators will be allowed providing they adhere to the guidelines and do not exceed the limits allowed at this stage.
however all of them including players should maintain PHYSICAL distancing any time they are not actively involved in competitive play.

* Groups of 50 are inclusive of Players (45) & Technical Staff/Coaches, if this number is extended during the summer we will increase our cohorts accordingly.
